Where to download it
On Etsy.com, open Shop Manager → Settings → Options → Download Data. Under Orders, choose the Etsy Payments deposits CSV type and select the month and year you want to reconcile. Etsy also supports a full-year download when no month is selected.
The official deposit columns
Etsy documents the Etsy Payments Deposit CSV with five columns: Date, Amount, Currency, Status, and Bank Account Ending Digits. This tool requires Date and Amount; the other fields are retained as review context.
Why not Etsy Payments Sales?
The Payments Sales export is useful for sales-level analysis and tax reconciliation. The Deposits export is narrower: it represents the amounts Etsy sent toward the bank, which makes it the direct source for cash reconciliation.
Why not use the monthly statement alone?
The monthly statement contains broader Payment account activity and is useful when you need to explain how fees, taxes, refunds, and available funds produced a deposit. That is a useful future second stage, but it is not required to answer the first question: “Did this Etsy deposit arrive in the bank?”
